You will be greeted by our Wings crew and invited on board. Once you’ve been orientated around the vessel relax and take in the scenery as you sail to your first dive and snorkel location. As you head to one of the northern islands of the Whitsunday Islands you will cross Whitsunday Passage and pass the Mole group of islands before arriving at Hook or Hayman Island.
Once your at your first location its time to take the plunge into the blue tropical waters and get to see what the Great Barrier Reef is really about.
Certified divers will be guided by our onboard PADI Instructor around the coral bombies of the fringing reefs. Our instructors bring underwater cameras on every dive, capturing those lifetime memories of you and the underwater world.
We offer Discover Scuba Diving Courses for non- certified divers with our instructor by your side you will be able to experience what it is like to breath underwater and take you on a tour of the reef and aquatic life.
After the snorkeling and diving has finished its back on board and lunch will be served whilst you cruise to another dive and snorkel sight. Where you can choose to dive, snorkel or just relax onboard or at the beach.
Once all the in water activities have finished its time to take a sunset sail to Tongue Bay the gateway to Whitehaven Beach. Snacks are always served on this leisurely sail.
After diner the crew will invite you to view an eco slide show, showing you some photos of what you may see and observe underwater and also pictures that have been taken whilst diving that day. Look out after dark for shooting stars or sit on the back deck and watch the fish swim in and out of our underwater blue lights.
After breakfast you will be taken to the magnificent Whitehaven Beach where you will be able to explore the beautiful white silica sands of Whitehaven. You will be taken on a short bush walk to the lookout where you will be able to overlook the entire beach and the inlet and view it in its finest glory. This is a picturesque setting and great for photo opportunities.
After Whitehaven beach it’s back onboard for lunch and sail to the final dive and snorkel site to explore the reefs of the Whitsunday Islands.
After the final dive sight its back on board for a final sail back to Airlie Beach. Arriving back at Airlie Beach for 4pm.
