Situated on the Southern-Eastern side of Whitsunday Island. The largest Island in the Cumberland group. Whitehaven Beach has recently been awarded the title of number one beach in the World.

The host aboard each vessel will accompany you on a full guided tour to ensure an understanding of local knowledge conduct beach activities and capture photo experiences of a lifetime. Attracting around 2,500 tourists each day, the magnificent swirling silica sands, unique only to Hill Inlet, are one of the most photographed landscapes on earth.

Guests aboard our Wings Vessels, are provided with the opportunity to spend several hours exploring, swimming, sunbaking, and enjoying the view the unspoiled white sands has to offer. Due to the maximum activities, skippers plan to fit the most into each tour with a varied outcome depending on wind direction, weather and tidal movements.

The hosts take their digital cameras along for the fun and take out of this world photos of you and your new Wings friends. Photos with Iconic Australian props including our yummiest tasting Vegemite, super size me sunscreen and hats. Posing with friends is always flattering with special camera angles. The overall affects are outweighed by the stunning appeal of the crystal clear waters and white sandy backdrop.

The once in a lifetime Australian visit for some guests ensures you visit both Hill inlet lookout and Whitehaven Beach in the one trip. Many vessels do not have these expensive permits or have to many passengers to qualify. Whitehaven Beach is a national park with the aboriginal name meaning: "Whispering Sands".
